Established in 2000, CET's R&D Center serves as the company's innovation engine. Guided by a "technology-driven innovation" philosophy, the center specializes in material formulations, new product development, and process upgrades.
With significant annual R&D investments, and a global talent pool, where 80% of researchers hold master's degrees or higher in mechanical engineering, polymer science, and applied chemistry, the R&D center delivers cutting-edge solutions to the industry.
It has established a continuous and complete innovation loop from theoretical breakthroughs and engineering prototypes to industrial applications meeting or exceeding performance standards.
Materials Laboratory
To strengthen core competitiveness in materials R&D, the R&D Center established a dedicated Materials Laboratory in 2020. This lab focuses on three core tasks: material formulation optimization, production process upgrades improvements, and testing standards system development. Key strategic research areas include Polyimide, Polyurethane, Thermoplastic materials, and Primary Charge Rollers.
The lab implements a "R&D-Pilot Testing-Mass Production-Quality Inspection" workflow to ensure stable and scalable production and strict output consistency.
